Milk Carton Print Workshop

Join Ning Song↗ for a hands-on milk carton printmaking workshop around the theme “Everyday Expectations.”

We’ll start with something ordinary — a milk carton, a piece of cloth, a sheet of paper — and turn it into something personal. Through carving and printing, we’ll explore the small expectations, memories, and meanings we place on the objects we live with every day.

You’ll create your own print and transfer it onto paper or an everyday object such as a T-shirt, tote bag, handkerchief, or other light-coloured textile.

No previous printmaking experience is needed. We’ll provide the printing toolkit, just bring something you’d like to print on, clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy, and an idea, image, or feeling you’d like to turn into a print.

We will be taking photos during the event. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know.

The workshop lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
